Intership Navigation Training Center (ISNTC) introduces social and environmental awareness to its Pre-Sea Cadet Training Program. ISNTC Pre-Sea Cadets conducts series of community service projects in the City of Manila.

Second Quarter of 2011 marks a significant event for INTERSHIP NAVIGATION TRAINING CENTER, INC. (ISNTC).  

New course programs have been added to the growing number of training courses.  Just recently RADAR NAVIGATION, RADAR PLOTTING AND USE OF ARPA (IMO Model Course 1.07) and CONSOLIDATED  MARPOL 73/78, ANNEXES  I – VI (MTC Course Program in accordance to Resolution 05, Series of 2010)) have been considered for FULL ACCREDITATION by the Maritime Training Council.

Changes and Challenges

ISNTC had its Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2000) recertified in December 29, 2008 by Germanischer Lloyd. Since then it has undergone a surveillance audit in December 2009 and surveillance/transition audit in December 2010 for the ISO9001:2008 version.

Last year, changes were seen in the growth of the organization in terms of number of employees, new positions, promotions and lateral transfers. In February 2011 the management decided to work for the reorganization of the Management System.
